Life Changes & Transitions

Listen, your healing journey looks like what your healing journey looks like! Based on what has happened to you, no one has ever had the same exact experiences that you have had — as they are unique and complex to you. When working together, we dissect the specific circumstances and desired outcomes that have led you up until to this moment in a way that is permission-based and holistically addressed, so that all of you may rise to the occasion of your life. Often, the feelings of “being lost,” not knowing “who I am” or “where am I going” can create significant amounts of stress and anxiety when left unresolved. Together, we explore all of these challenges. Together, we will try on what fits, and enter into the areas of unknown or unsure, collaboratively learning who the truest form of you is and what they may need in this moment of life. You will then become well-equipped to deal with all future endeavors of change and transition from a grounded, capable, empowered space.

Trauma

Trauma is defined as: a deeply disturbing or distressing experience. Trauma can be from childhood, it can be situational or it can be embedded from past or current experiences. Trauma itself is a rich and complex entity, that needs the collaborative work of a trauma-informed specialist in order for it to be untethered and to no longer interfere with the story of your life. Often, when trauma is left unaddressed, we move from a place of subconscious patterning that was inset by the trauma, which can lead us to recreating experiences, relationships and actions that remind our body’s of the trauma it once experienced. This complex dynamic can be overcome, integrated and no longer be at the forefront of our experience once we are able to work through it in full. Often, trauma is the root of anxiety, depression, insomnia, worry, OCD, addiction, and self-sabotaging thoughts or behaviors. On the other side of trauma drama is a whole and fulfilling life that is possible for absolutely everyone.

LGBTQ+ / Queer Identity

Being a LGBTQ+ identifying person myself, I understand deeply the complex challenges that come with brushing up against societal and cultural conditionings that say “you are not welcome.” I also understand the confusion when it comes to understanding one’s own personal identity in terms of gender or sexuality, especially amidst the noise that says there are only certain ways that you are allowed to be if you are wanting to be accepted. Together, we dissect the confusions, hangups, self hatred, and decondition society’s programming around what it means to identify as LGBTQ+ in the world today. Together in a safe space, we work judgement-free around any unresolved traumas, patterns and behaviors that correlate to identity and sexuality so that you may learn to embody exactly who you are, a unique and special being, in your body, in which ever way that you need to be.

Healing is a journey and it doesn’t happen overnight. Bit by bit and piece by peace, we unravel the stories we have told ourselves and rewrite the script, therefore changing the way we see who we are and the experiences we have had.
